As Lesser Lord Kusanali, she strives to have a stronger presence in Sumeru now that she has been freed from her extensive confinement in the Sanctuary of Surasthana.
Dragon Companion: Huchtulth
There was chaos in Sumeru City- yet again. "A monster has appeared in the forest! It's crushing trees and destroying habitats!" A matra reported to Nahida. "Show me where, I'll help stop it." she said, mentally preparing herself for a battle.
As they neared the site where the beast was, they could hear the groaning and cracking of trees falling, and she could just make out the shape of something utterly massive towering above the trees. Horizon zoomed towards her, coming to a stop right in front of her. "We suspect it's a dragon, from the Nexus." he reported. "Attempts have been made to contact it, but it won't respond."
Nahida nodded. "I'll attempt to make contact then, if it doesn't work, we'll have to contact the Weyr on how to remove this threat." she said, then headed forward, towards the colossal creature. Eventually, she reached it, and began to lift herself up, floating over a rather considerable distance, until she was finally face to face with the great beast. "Please, listen to me!" she shouted, using her powers to reach out and touch the dragon's mind, trying to portray her urgency. The dragon stopped it's digging, and looked up at her, curiosity in it's eyes.
"You're different. Interesting." a loud voice boomed in her mind, almost breaking her concentration. She shook her head, clearing away the dizziness. "Thank you for listening." she said. "If I may ask, what are you doing, and why?" "I was waiting. Waiting for something interesting to happen. I was told if I came through the portal, I'd find a new home. So I was waiting for a sign that this was it. Are you that sign?" the dragon asked, peering closer to Nahida.
"I can be, if that's what you'd like. Home is wherever we make it. Sumeru will welcome you, but first- you have to promise to stop destroying our home." "The trees? They're your home?" he asked, looking around, eventually spotting the group that had gathered behind him. "They're a part of my home. They could be part of your home too. But please, stop breaking them." The dragon looked around at the destruction around him, then looked back up at Nahida. "I think, I'd like your home to be my home too. You've interested me. I'll stop breaking things. But where can I go? Your home is very crowded." he asked, looking around nervously.
"Can you fly?" she asked, catching his attention. "I can!" he answered, butting his head underneath her and raising his massive wings. With a few beats of his great wings, they were airborne, flying high into the sky. She looked back and said "C'mon, I'll show you around your new home- there's plenty of places someone like you can live!"

Abilities: Amphibious, Atomic Breath, Kaiju Durability and Regeneration, Radiation Absorption, Telepathy, Teleportation
Personality: A titanic teddy bear honestly. He's eager to help and wants the best for Sumeru, especially Nahida. He's as gentle as he can be, but for a giant like him, well, he mostly leaves the little things to others. He's glad to help out wherever he can, but spends most of his time roaming the desert, as it's much more open- plus, he can 'mediate' conflicts between the eremites.
When Huchtulth isn't roaming the desert trying to keep the eremites in check, he roams the ocean off the coast. Nahida is really glad to have made such a big ally, and she does genuinely enjoy Huch's company, spending time with him whenever she can find a moment to do so. He also permits the researchers to take scale and blood samples on occasion for research, but denies playing part in most experiments- he is NOT a lab rat, thank you very much.
